The Paducah Convention & Visitors Bureau promoted Laura Schaumburg to marketing director. Kentucky Department of Corrections Deputy Commissioner James Erwin announced that Steve Woodward has been promoted to warden at the Western Kentucky Correctional Complex in Fredonia. Woodward assumed his new duties Tuesday.
Woodward began his career with the Department of Corrections in September 1990 as a correctional officer at WKCC. He was promoted over the years, most recently to deputy warden at WKCC in January 2010, as the facility converted to an all-female population in April 2010.
